Ever had one of those moments where you thought running from one office to another would yield a better answer? Charlie did too! In my time at OVGU, I've come to appreciate the expertise of our examination office. In my experience, they have proven to be the most reliable source for exam-related advice. Their expertise and adherence to university policies make them my go-to for any queries. Trust their answers!
As a research assistant with teaching duties, every now and then, I have students who seek help with their examination formalities due to complications. Usually this is not our area of expertise, as we only have content-related expertise, and we reach out to the examination office for assistance. Frequently, we learn that the students reached out to the examination office already and asked for help there. As there is regulationwise nothing we can do, we just explain to the students once more what they already heard from the examination office and follow the examination office's guidance as well. The comic shows this reality really well. The students have to understand that all the staff at the examination office want to help the students in their situations and only act according to the regulations in place.
