COMPUTER SCIENCE

The Faculty of Computer Science supports the transfer of knowledge and technology both in direct cooperation with industry and by supporting students with start-up projects. In addition to the individual projects and cooperation between the institutes and working groups , the faculty currently offers the following transfer support:

• Idea development and application laboratory (IDEAL)
• Bachelor Profile Web Founder . A nationwide unique computer science course with the aim of training future company founders in the areas of mobile apps and web services. ( You can find the FIN spin-offs here )
• Knowledge and technology transfer at the chair for simulation

In addition, FIN provides business premises in the Innovation and Start-up Laboratory (IGL) to spin-offs from the faculty for up to two years free of charge.

Other transfer priorities of the faculty are the participation in the university-wide transfer-oriented research focus on medical technology and the Center for Digital Engineering (CDE).
